Bob Davila has been encouraging all members of the Gallaudet community to share their ideas for things that can be done at Gallaudet to move forward after the protests, to heal as a community, and become more welcoming of diversity. And, yes, he has specifically said he welcomes ideas from alumni too.
So how about it? Many of you already have ideas that have been percolating in the back of your head over the weeks and months since the protests — and during the months in which the protests happened, and during the years before. Pull your thoughts together into an email and send them to email@example.com
If you also send a cc of your email to ashettle [@] patriot.net (of course, take out the brackets and the spaces around the @ sign) with your permission, I’d be happy to post your email here for all to see and comment on. If others like your idea, then maybe they too will be inspired to send letters to firstname.lastname@example.org to endorse the same idea.
