YES, this email-writing campaign is for DEAF people too! This quick power point program explains how and why Deaf people and also people with disabilities from across the United States and around the world should EMAIL OBAMA!
If you have any trouble with this slide show, then most of the text is also posted at http://wecando.wordpress.com/2008/11/07/disabilities-email-obama/
Make sure Obama knows you are watching him and what he does about his promises to Deaf people and to people with disabilities! Send emails on Deaf- or disability-related issues to Kareem Dale, Obama’s National Disability Vote Director (at kdale@barackobama.com), WITH COPIES TO Anne Hayes, a volunteer on the Obama Disability Policy Committee (at ahayesku@hotmail.com). And, please “embed” (display) the above slide show at your blog, too. Together, we can create change for Deaf people and for people with disabilities!

Dearest People–whoever you are!
this site seems a perfect place to let you know that even though I did not vote for Obama’s change, I am willing–prayerfully–to give my time and effort to making the United States, One nation under God. We must give respect to all–I mean ALL–life. From the moment of conception to the very end and that includes all those with disabilites. We must thnak God for the privilege and honor that we have of knowing all peoples, especially people who are looked down upon by so many. All of us–have gifts and talents that can be brought to the table of life. Thank you God for the life you give each of us–thank you for the mothers and fathers who give life to each tiny human being–even the ones who are not perfect. Thank you God for all life–the lame, the poor sighted, the deaf, the down’s syndrome children –only 10% of whom are born becuase most moather abort them (90%). thank you god for the most imperfect of people whom you have chosen to bring us closer to you–the one who loves and cares and creates all. and thank you Jesus for coming to show us the way to eternal salvation–for all whom you have shown the way, the truth and the light. We as Christinas come to obama and his team of leaders to please tolerate human beings of all sizes, shapes, beginnings and endings. Respect all–for God will have us–eacxh one of us before him someday and ask–What did you do for the least of my brethren?–did you love them enough to keep them alive–as I intnended–from the beginning to the ends?? Or did you take my poor, crippled, orphaned, old and dying and toss them aside–Yes, Lord, I as a Chrisitan will speck for all–thanks.
